If you’re a regular reader of these roundups, you may have noticed something different about this one. We’ve launched a brand new version of the Man Booker Prize website, with a whole new look and some great new features.
Find out all about the new-look website by reading our announcement.
To mark the launch of the new site, its second iteration, we interviewed some of the biggest names to have been nominated for the prize. Firstly, we filmed an interview with author of The Finkler Question, winner of the 2010 Man Booker Prize, Howard Jacobson about winning the prize, the impact it had on him and his theories on how his book helped capture Osama Bin Laden.
Another Man Booker Prize-winning novel was in the news this week, John Banville’s The Sea, which won the prize in 2005, is BBC Radio 4’s Book at Bedtime this week.
Don’t forget, the longlist for the 2012 Man Booker Prize is announced next week (25 July), so make sure you’re following us on Twitter @manbookerprize and you’ve liked us on Facebook to get the news first. Let us know what you think should be on the longlist by leaving a comment or sending us a tweet.
